The loss of a loved one remains the most difficult ordeal to live through. The Bessette family understands this reality and the need for empathy and human warmth in these times. This is why they offer to their families and to the entire community a new and complete range of services to accompany those who are mourning.

As part of this new care-giving service, a support and bereavement specialist is now an integral part of the Résidences et jardins funéraires Bessette.

The Bessette family offers, at no charge, two meetings with a bereavement counsellor. These meetings are offered to the immediate family and are open to all age groups, adults as well as children, any time within one year following the death.

In order to offer resources that are adapted to the realities of a child’s bereavement, the Bessette family is proposing an innovative and unique program for children from six to 12 years.

The Bessette family opens its doors to all the families in the region.

Even though the funeral ritual constitutes the final farewell, it is not in itself a finality. Because there is more than one way to live through bereavement, the Bessette family has chosen to offer a range of support and accompaniment services open to all.
