Planification funeraires

Definition

Planning your funeral today will spare others the responsibility tomorrow. You can organize your funeral and determine your wishes.

The funeral planning contract covers two categories of items:

  • goods and services required for the funeral service;
  • goods required for the burial.

Did you know . . .?
Under Bill 162, anyone selling funeral pre-arrangement plans must deposit in a trust fund 90% of all fees for goods and services that will not be delivered until the time of death. This money cannot be withdrawn unless one of the following occurs:
  • the beneficiary dies;
  • the goods or services are delivered;
  • the buyer cancels the contract.

Who uses funeral planning?
Funeral planning is for everyone.
