Georges A. Bessette, Founder
  • Over 40 years' experience in the funeral profession as a thanatologist (funeral director).
  • 1942 : Begins his career in the profession as an embalmer.
  • 1969 : Reenters the funeral profession with his former employer.
  • 1971 : Acquires Résidence Funéraire Léo-Paul Ledoux in Waterloo and Valcourt.
  • 1986 : Builds a new funeral home in Bromont.
  • 1988 : Acquires Salon Funéraire Drummond in Granby and Salon Funéraire Victor Rochon in Roxton Pond.

Lucie Bessette, Executive Secretary
  • Secretarial degree (1972) from Polyvalente Massey-Vanier in Cowansville.
  • 30 years' experience in the funeral profession.

Raymond Bessette, Thanatologist (Funeral Director) and Embalmer
  • Degree in thanatology (1973) from the New England Institute in Boston, Massachusetts.
  • 29 years' experience in the funeral profession.

Claude Bessette, Thanatologist (Funeral Director) and Embalmer
  • Degree in thanatology (1974) from L'Institut des Thanatologues du Québec.
  • 30 years' experience in the funeral profession.

Robert Bessette, Thanatologist (Funeral Director) and Embalmer
  • Degree in thanatology (1980) from L'Institut des Thanatologues du Québec.
  • 22 years' experience in the funeral profession.

Daniel La Liberté, Thanatologist (Funeral Director) and Director of Customer Service
  • Ten years' experience in the funeral profession.

In addition, some twenty part-time employees greet visitors, work as pallbearers and other pertinent tasks that relate to the funeral home.

The team can now count on a third generation. A grandson, Éric Bessette, came on board in 2002 and is now attending a training session on the latest thanatological technology at Boreal College in Sudbury, Ontario.
